get all the metal bits under the bonnet powdercoated  :smiley:




Looking lovely under there Barry! I was thinking about painting the rocker cover and all the bits but you have reminded me - I do need a upper strut brace :) just drilling the holes puts me off!
Performance mods: Revo stage 2 map, 5 Peice Hose Kit & TIP, Evoloution Motorsport Air Filter, N249 by-pass, Forge spliter valve, ECS N75 Valve, KW 50mm springs &shocks, Front & Rear Eiabach ARB, Full Milltek Turbo back exhaust.

headlining can be bought or just spray your own,an the gear knob not gearbox  :grin: looks like a seat item

It can be bought, as the Anniversary golf had it as standard, although be ready to dig deep! :lipsrsealed: I sprayed mine, and all in all it cost around £60 to do. You could use dye, which would be cheaper, however some people have had issues with it not colouring evenly :undecided:

Gearknob is from a Seat (which is says above the pic) :rolleyes:

MEH!!! Scrap that - went out to my car this morning onyl to be greeted by some hideous scrapes on my rear bumper.... looks like some *ucktard has pulled out and scraped it..... looks like my money is going ona  respray.  :angry:

Emailed Chris @ waxamomo for a list bits i could you to try wetsand it out first...

so this is what i woke up to this morning.... pretty pis*ed off to be honest but what can you do eah?

Luckily the old man owns his own taxi frim so he gets discount at a bodayshop in newbury and there works spot on.. 120 for rear bumper re-spray ..





you can just make out the orange paint on the scratches.... i think its a giant orange van that delivers papers in the mornings to the local shop next to my house... Dam i need a driveway!

Gooted about the rear bumper but a good re-spray price and u will still have change for a mod lol.
Not a total loss lol.
Some good ideas i might look in to myself on this thread.
