there was a post a long time ago that had a list of bits you needed and where to get them from, I just did this and I am sure it was well under £250

Most expensive was the VR6 clutch and then the surcharge from VM for the G60 flywheel (couldnt be bothered going to get one from a scrappy)

There was an old post about g60, abf, stock DMF and ECS flywheels with vwprime. Some intresting finds as the abf and g60 wernt as light as people initially thought. ECS one turned out the lightest unless you send the other two flywheels for a further trim. ECS kit turned out £333 for me from awesome (worked out slightly cheaper by a few quid to get in UK than US directly from ECS+tax), but the quality is there and so where all the correct bolts, alignment tool and bearing.

handy info there. im getting the one from techniclutch i dont think it a bad kit genuine bolts and sachs clutch too

Cheers guys I think I'm gona stick with awesome as I've been looking at the feedback from techniclutch and people are saying they have been sent fake stuff out and none of the bolts fit and stuff so I'm playing safe I think

Try darkside performance they sell all genuine vw flywheel bolts etc and sachs clutch kit for 260 and they will be gen. Uk m4 club reccomend them too

I just bought the VR6 clutch from them, standard ABF flywheel with gen VW bolts from the stealers - been good as gold
