Panasonic Plasma for the connoisseur of TV's  :P
Black? You don't know the meaning of black LCD.

Mines a GT50 and is awesome! I would've loved a VT but couldn't justify the extra 2k for a nicer chassis. LCD tv's are generally pretty crap, we've got a 32" samsung LCD in our bedroom which is tolerable but not great tbh, messing with the settings makes a big difference cos the defaults are terrible! One thing i would recommend is turning off the noise reduction which will reduce the picture trails a bit.

Gotta be Plasma imo, LED's are getting there but are still too expensive for a really good one.
Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂

personally, I would stay away from LG altogether. But Plasma FTW!

Edit. Pinoeer Kuros' are still making money second hand. My mate had one many years ago before he solf it for 4k. One of the best looking TV's I have seen.

Bring on 4k!

LG are basically Samsung and are absolutely fine tv's.

Depends what you want really. I bought a 46" samsung f6670 and it's awesome.

LG and samsung are made on the same assembly line using the same hardware.

Well all I can say folks,

I have had 2 LG tv's were both design flaws. The most recent being that the plasma that became faulty on the 13th month of purchase (1 months after warrenty), and LG would not entertain me at all without me having to go down the SOGA.

The fault I had was well documented on forums such as AV forum as people were having the same issue but again, LG was not intrested. So hence I will not being buying another LG.

i didn't say they weren't different companies just that they use a lot of the same hardware. I am aware of their rivalry.

I found with electronic components that its the level of clean environment and software that matters and to be fair I remember about Acer laptops were used as table trays for dinner all because there manufacturing base was not a level 1 clean assembly line.
