Golf/Bora vent loom
« on: 02 January 2013, 14:23 »
So I have just bought some bora illuminated vents. They have existing wiring on them. So what I am thinking is. Can I just wire them all together (pass)live-(centre)live-(drivers)live-switch and negative-negative-negative-earth? Is that all that's needed? Cheers

It won't be as neat but its essentially all the loom does anyways. So yes you can

Sweet! Not bothered about neatness, I mean who is going to be looking behind the dash?  I just need to know which wire is the side light now as I don't have or know anyone near by with a multi meter

it doesnt matter if its not neat its behind the dash, thats what I did, works like a treat. I dont notice them anymore but when you first do it what an improvment!

It's all done and looking sweet  I prefer the flush vents more than anything but if the LEDs are there why not
