Not sure if its been asked but..

People sometimes talk about there engine I.e aum apk ect I'm prob gonna sound thick but where would I find my engine spec and do these have certain meanings ? Sorry if its a stupid question but still learning about my car as its my 1st golf I've owned

Performance mods: Revo stage 2 map, 5 Peice Hose Kit & TIP, Evoloution Motorsport Air Filter, N249 by-pass, Forge spliter valve, ECS N75 Valve, KW 50mm springs &shocks, Front & Rear Eiabach ARB, Full Milltek Turbo back exhaust.

Engine code stamped onto engine near front left side iirc
2001 mk4 GTI 1.8t AUM. k&n induction kit with customer heat shield, 3'' TIP, Forge 007P, Stage 1 map, N249 bypass, 3'' downpipe and decat, 2.75'' Jetex cat back non res, Koni shockers and H&R springs 35mm, dimpled and grooved disks front and back

Is the the golf your currently have or have you now picked up a 1.8T ?

Cheers for that just checked my book and its says APK does the apk have a meaning or is it just the name of the engine ?

170 N m is ~125 ft lb

Besides this, is the above accurate? It would appear there is a significant difference the rpm which they make peak torque.
