well heres a sitrep. Unplugged the MAF sensor if anything it made it worse so it must be doing its job in some shape manner or form. Going to a party tomorrow night and ill get access to a code reader while im there see if it pings anything just wondering if anyone could shed anymore light on the subject incase theres no code thrown. Symptoms: Irratic idle followed by cutting out, whilst moving then dipping the clutch causes straight cut out and a slight loss of power. Battery light comes on when it cuts out and the epc light stays on before restart but goes out after the engine starts (not sure if thats normal)

someone mentioned suction jet pump where is it located is it accessible easily. Also there now seems to be a squeal at start up soon as engine starts it lets out a squeal but it doesnt sound like a belt. Loving this car so far lol

Hello mate - the suction jet pump is located just under the inlet mani . Let the engine idle and listen for vac leaks - it sounds like a rather large one so should be easy to spot .... Saying that - it can be a b*tch!!

Just to make that clear - it runs off the brake booster line - see picture below

Okay got a code scanner its a vw audi vgate scanner so assuming it knows the ecu pretty well and the codes are as follows.

P0130 Oxygen (lambda) sensor B1 S1: Malfunction in circuit.  (guessing thats cause of my manifold back exhaust)
P1297 Pressur drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.).  (guessing this is causing my idling and power loss issue) Can anyone point me in the direction of what to do here.

Cheers in advance

Right cars in the garage and i checked for an update today and they have cleaned the throttle body, checked for air leakschecked intercooler and all piping, checked air intake and all is well. One thing they did find is the exhaust is blowing badly at the turbo causing overfueling. Would this cause the irratic idle and cut outs aswell?

Okay looking for a bit more help folks. Went and spoke to a vw/audi specialist who assures me the 17705 fault CANNOT ever be fixed. I refuse to believe this and after a hefty hunt around online i've come up with a list of possible causes but i was hoping some kind people could help me eliminate some of them based on the symptoms.

SYMPTOMS: On start up the engine will squeal but its not a belt i cannot place what the noise is.
Car refuses to idle properly and sounds like its about to cut out then eventually will.
If driven for a few minutes upon dipping the clutch coming to a stop the engine will cut out completely
Boost doesnt feel as powerful as when i got the car.
Fuel economy is shot to hell (5th gear at 55mph my computer was showing 18mpg)

DONE SO FAR: Throttle body cleaned and reset
                     Hole patched in exhaust
                     1st Lambda probe replaced
Mechanic says he has checked the vac lines not sure if he meant visually or pressure tested
                     Intercooler checked

POSSIBLE CAUSES: Boost leak
                           N112/N249/N75
                           Air flow meter
                           Suction Jet Pump
                           PCV Valve
I read about the turbo outlet to some kind of pancake hose if someone can give me the proper name
                           Lower intercooler pipe
                           TIP
                           Oil Dipstick (possibly split/cracked)
                           Checkvalve
                           Chargepipe
Map/Re-map (read about this but im not sure if the cars been remapped how would i know?)

If anyones got a spare minute or two to have a browse over the symptoms and possible causes and tell me whats more likely to be causing this if any of them id greatly appreciate it. Or if ive missed something do please let me know. Ive got an undriveable car now due to the cutting out when clutch is dipped which the vw/audi specialist reckoned wasnt linked to the 17705 issue can anyone confirm that?

Many Thanks
