i this a private plate

car used to have a private plate on. which was taken off. but all pprefix style regs ive seen before are 1letter 3numbers 3letters.

not 1letter 2numbers 3letters

Its an 2000 plate, DVLA may have held it back for auction, or a car dealership may have got hold of a batch of "low numbers" to offer customers who would maybe like there initials on there new car...
Other than that, its nothing special...

My old Megane saloon was R38 YVG, all Megane saloons I saw were the same style...

Ah ok. just wasnt sure cause ive never seen a prefix plate with only 2 numbers. so wasnt sure if it was a cheep private plate.

My old 106 was M94GPD, it seemed fairly more common around the early to mid 90s as far as I've seen.

Obviously 2 digit numeric plates are going to be more scarce, because they couldn't make that many of them! and even less single digit numeric plates :rolleyes:
