Been looking at coilovers on ebay, can anyone tell me what the hottuning ones are like and also the Jom ones.
Cheers

Mixed opinions on those, some love and other hate!

I had JOM ad Hottuning on my old Mk4, both were good for the money (mine were used, but still decent ride), and go fairly low aswel.

I have some other budget ones on my Mk3 which ride fairly well, but after 18months they're knocking...

With JOM/HotTuning, you may have to strip them down and tighten up anything you can find as they have been know (quite often) to leak after fitting!

I recently fitted hottunnings on my Mk3. The ride is a bit choppy compared to my last Mk3 which had AP coilovers. You do get what you pay for anyway but with a 2 year warranty on hottunings you cant really go wrong if you can put up with the ride.

Jamex, JOM and Hottuning are all the same coilover just different name on it and different coloured springs.
