Its not an issue. With a wee bit ability and a good cutting knife you CAN fit standard front mudflaps to an ED35.

I have custom fit them to my ED35 and no problems, rubs, worry of skirts falling off. Fit nicely once done

The Stealers will always tell you they don't fit or parts will say the same "Theyre not wrong" but they are not paid to think outside the box.....

All the fittings are the same, you just need to take a bit of time determining the cuts you need to make to allow for the skirts and in the main the inner wing torx screws will still line up for the flaps once you have cut away excess and i can assure you there is no wheel rub or flap grounding under sharp cornering or braking.....

Cheers mate! :) I'll remember that for the next photo :P

I'm from Arbroath, bought in Dundee though.

Are all of the extras you got factory or some after market?

Why not just get the correct ones from a dealer instead of cutting? They are shown on the configurator as an accessory for the ED35 @ £69 for the front pair.

Rick. The configurator says a lot of things and the mudflaps for fronts are generic to Golf and although it suggests it they are not for the side skirt Golfs.

Just as Liam here, I checked with Stealer but could not order so i got them to provide Golf Fronts and i customised to suit.

Liam my ED 35 was fully toyed by Perth so all VW but the bling etc is fleabay but i did order the 35 from VW for rear (not cheap). There are threads where you will see pics of footrest and rear 35 badges as well as inserts for seat adjusters. All reasonable......
