Where did you take it?

Might be worth just telling them to forget it and picking it up. It's not a big job, it's three door cars off, 2 bolts for the window, 10 bolts for the inner door bit and two bolts for the door lock module. It took me about 3 hours to figure out how to do it myself for the first time. I could now do it in about 45 - 60 mins.

Ring up ask how much work they have done on it. If they say lots, tell them they are bullsh!tting. If they say none, say take the car away and do it yourself. Or ask for a definite date and price for it to be finished.

DIY is very easy.

G Bailey Motor Bodies in Timperley, usually been good with me but this is beyond a joke now. On Friday when I dropped the locks off at 4pm, he mentioned nothing at all about being fully booked and said it should be done by Tuesday.

By the sounds of it not much or anything has been done on the car. I said to him I need it by Friday as going away and he said ring at lunchtime tomorrow to see if it is ready or not.

I said I will come pick it up now to take somewhere else but he said all 3 door won't shut at the moment, so I am kinda stuck with it there. Really annoyed as even if he is fully booked he should make time to fit my car in to be fixed

God knows how much he will charge. Going from what people have said on here, it should take no longer for a hour a door, so would hope no more than 3 hours labour.

I just wish he would of said to me on Friday when I took him the locks that he was fully booked next week and that he may not be able to do my car until the end of the week, so then giving me the chance to take it else where. The fact is, he never mentioned this and told me it should be done by Tuesday.

Is why it is getting me so mad, if I knew on Friday it would take this long, would never of kept it there. Will see tomorrow lunch time what is going on, if nothing, then I will take it home
