Drivers door not shuting

Passengers side door has now the same problem!!! I give up. Why do things go wrong when you have no money

Keep them both shut until you have money and just use the rears  sorry mate had to say it. Mine sometimes doesn't open when you pull the handle either but the door has dropped a little.

Last year the rear passengers side door had the problem too, we had to move the child seat to the other side due to it, yet within a month, the problem all of sudden went and the door ever since has been perfect.

Today, rear side passengers door has now the same problem. So in the space of a couple of weeks, I have 3 door all bouncing open each time I go to shut them.

Any ideas what the hell is happening?

The other day i closed the door on my car and i couldnt open it from inside or outside, after fighting with it for an hour and a half, I messed about with this clip and it opened.

Try adjusting it, maybe it'll close then and it wont bounce back in your face.

The problem i had was it wouldnt open, your problem is it wont close. so try this it may work.

Did not work trying that fix

Going to have to put it in to my local garage to see if they can find the fault, very very annoying having 3 doors bounce open every time you go to shut them

Went in to my VW dealership to ask why all 3 doors would suddenly fail within a couple of weeks, he had no idea but suggested I might need 3 new locks at a great price of £690!!! Yeah, wait there, just book it in

Go to a breakers yard or scrap yard and get 3 locking mechanisms for that bit of the door

funny i read this now my rear doors doing it.

Had the same problem few weeks ago..had to pull the door shut and lock it with the remote.. After few slams and few times locking with remote it got ok by itself.. Good luck !
