I play WOW and have done since it came out over 7 years ago, why? Because it has something different to the same old "Run & gun" attitude most games have nowadays. And i like how you can upgrade your character, new weapons, armour that sort of thing. Its one of them games that have the "Marmite" attraction. You ether love it or you hate it.
I will agree the game does have a bad name purely down to the pasoner other people have given it.
The only news that every gets told about this game is how some "Korean" who played it for 2 weeks solid and died or how a baby died because the parents where to busy playing this game. I mean really comeon, who in there right mind that HAS a job and OTHER things to do in life would remotely do this? As I have said its only the bad things you hear which instantly puts other people off playing it, and makes anyone that does play it look like they are "sad" or have "no life" the fact is these people that fall into this trap dont work, are very lonely and have nothing else in life so use this game as a sub for a life they wish they had, powerful person, has lots of friends and feels important.
Me? I play it because growing up i played game like zelda, final fantasy, resident evil and this game has those factors and i have a few friends that play it which we all have a laugh now and then.
Anyway now my rant is out of the way lol MOP...
Its very much like the orginal game where you have the grind for gear/rep etc and you cannot encounter raids unless you are correctly geared/atttuned.
Is this worth getting? Yes, wow nowadays caters alot for casual gamers like myself. Up until now i have not had the time or dedication to be able to raid.
Have fun.
