Gear Knob
« on: 20 December 2012, 16:14 »
Does anybody know if the gear knob from a 6N2 Polo will fit into the golf? I'm fed up with the horrible wooden standard one and fancy a change.

Thanks

I've looked at those and thought about it but the polo gti knob looks similar to the r-line parts.

I probably will end up with one of those I'm reality though.

Does anybody know if the polo golf gear knobs are interchangeable?

the one i want from ebay is about £30 all in but thats with real chrome surround, real leather and billet alu

Hmmm interesting. I hadn't though of that. I saw on votex of someone fitting a mk5 golf ball style (similar to the mk4 anni) one which was ideally what I'd want but I can't find one on the bay.

Apparently they are supposed to be cheap too.

they are and they are a pain to find, type in words like "mk4 golf gear knobs" or "gear knob" etc, should be able to find everything you need bud

I picked up a Seat sport gear knob for £18.50 posted! Certainly different to the usual Anni or R gear knobs that people opt for!
