How do they sleep at night?
« on: 20 July 2005, 11:31 »
Some to55er hit my wing mirror last night when my missus had the car and was just about to step out of it smashing the glass.  I've just phoned Vw to see how much for a new one and they want £30 plus VAT

I think i'll try some parts dealers and see what they will do.  None of the scrappys can help as they wont split the glass from the mirror.

Bastards. I hate people like that. The last time somebody did a similar hit and run thing to me i swevered round them and parked infront of them forcing them to stop. Maybe a bit drastic considering i was on a main road into leeds city centre but none the less it did the trick!

I'd of done something similar but the missus didn't (which i'm glad about) The thing is people who were standing nearby that he knew he'd done it but then put his foot down.  I would would have chased him and taken the £30 out of his arse with my shoe

I think when I was in Halfrauds last time, I saw a whole rack of replacement glass for wing mirrors. Might be worth a look.

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.
