Quick question re R32/Anniversary spoiler
« on: 17 December 2012, 18:41 »
Where is the part number stamped exactly and would it be visable when fitted on tailgate?
Thanks.

On the underneath of the spoiler, if you open the boot at look at it from behind the car you should see it

Bought an sold several of these over the years... The stamp is on the under side of the spoiler, but where it is bonded to the tailgate. Meaning you won't see it when fitted.

Unfortunately I can't remember the part number, but I've got one in the Bodyshop that I should be getting back soon, so I can tell you then, unless you find out prior?

Fantastic cheers mate, it looks bang on, not at all like a replica and guy who sold me tailgate said its 100% genuine so was bit worried that there is no stamp, but if its under the part thats bonded then that clears that up, thanks again.

You know I nearly went down that route too so glad I didn't, anyway once I pickup Mk5 tailgate off my mate I can get started on the Mk5 handle mod on this Anni one
