VR6 engine into MK2 GTi 16v conversions....

Thinking of getting my MK2 done.

Anyone recommend any garages in the north london area and a rough idea of the engine bits, brakes etc and how much labour should be.

hello there  - mine shoudl be ready in 2 weeks time -

i paid 800 pound labour and 550 for and engine and box - iw as quite fortunate that the guy who is doing the conversion for me is providing all the extra little bits for inclusive as he has a mark3 vr6 there.

this guy also did my friends vr6 into mark 2 and a 20valve turbo into a rallye - he is excellent but at the mo is not too well known. he is not far form north london so if you want any more details give me a shout.

Get in contact with the guys from Voodoo motorsport, ask for elie and say that Slick (from CGTI) sent you. I am sure they will be happy to take it on.
