But I WILL have to clean it next weekend. If I clean it this weekend as well, that will double the chances of inflicting swirls. Minimal contact and all that.

I think washing the mats and hoovering it ought to satisfy the need for automotive cleaning this weekend.

on one hand you have salt eating away at your lovely wax and sealant and quietley munching away on the underside etc

on the other hand you have increased risk of swirl marks from cleaning as its so dirty etc....

bloody hell we should have just left them in the garage! :shocked:

How do you dry it afterwards? A spin around the block works in summer, but this time of year is counter productive surely?
