Got lucky today my boiler decided to die  :rolleyes: and went on ebay to see what parts I could buy to fix it.
Turns out min £250 plus wires and fan etc. Last night near me someone upgraded to combi and had there old boiler same make and model sitting in the garage doing nothing. I won at against 3 bidders £36 all in picked it up this morning and it took me 2 hours to strip & fit the upgraded parts now works perfectly just before any bad winter snow comes in!
Got bloody lucky and still have over £300 spare parts if they fail!
Didnt want santa to buy a new boiler at christmas time thats just boring!  :smiley: 
Just happy we have some spare cash to spend on kids!!!!

Had my main present already, LG home cinema system  :cool: probably got a few little bits as well but not got a clue what they will be !
