Hi, recently bought a mk4 golf gti and it seems to be a bit slow on starting and also when it idles it slightly flutters, does anybody know what it could possibly be? Someone suggested a filter in the fuel pressure valve? Need help! Haha

It'll always be slower starting in colder weather, fluttering is more than likely the MAF or throttle body, clean the throttle body anyway and then if that doesnt sort it look at the MAF

I have vag com'd it. And it says fuel mixture too rich and also cylinder 3 misfire, could this be a dodgy spark plug?

Could be mate check spark plugs .. Prob cheapest bet to change..or change coil pack 3 or swap them around see that shifts fault code if does you know its the coil pack
Where vw not doing recalls about coil packs think was on aum's
