What do you want to know jay ? They are not as fast as a mk1 tintop but I love mine, see past all the hairdresser jokes and you'll love it too.  Downsides are the risk of someone ripping the hood but other than that the threats are the same as any other car, just get a good alarm and a crook lock and hope for the best because if some little scroat comes along with a stanly knife there's jack you can do about it.

Just for a comparison, I raced a tintop down the strip at santapod at GTI festival the other week and I was doing him at 60ft, he was just slightly in front of me at 330ft and by the end of the 1/4 I did it in 17.2 and he was something like 15.8 so in reality a second and half on the road wouldn't be that much.
......now officially dubless.

Where to start !

All the cabbies came with power hoods from about 88(ish). The Rivage has a mohair roof, slightly tinted windows, leccy windows, leccy hood, heated front seats. Green Rivage's all had cream leather interior, some of the blue ones did, but not most of them. The Sportline had leccy hood and Recaro seats but didn't have heated seats or leccy windows as standard and they didn't have mohair hoods either, not sure if they had tinted windows either. I think most GTI's had a similar spec to the Sportlines but without the Recaro's. If I think of anything else I'll let you know.

Just don't buy a clipper if your after performance, they don't know the meaning of the word!

I know I don't intend to sell my cabby for a LONG time if that means anything.
