That's the thing with the modern day GTI, it's pretty much a jack of all trades. As good as it is at fast cruising and effortlessly covering large distances in great comfort, it's just as good at hooning round twisty B-Roads, especially with the new performance pack.

Yeah exactly, it's the sheer versatility of the car that makes it for me. In all honesty, even my current car is more than fast and capable enough for me in that regard. Also, most of my driving is either around town, A roads, motorways, and the occasional B roads. I wonder though, of those who go for the PP, how many of them will actually drive around corners faster because of it? It's all down to personal skill and how comfortable you are at those speeds. As they say, the closer to the limits you are, the faster you will fall
