Depends what you want i suppose. How loud do you want it to be. Do you want a full stainless system. What tailpipe do you want?

Definitley stainless exhaust and if you can stretch to it get a stainless manifold too gives it a much meatier tone I get called Starsky when parking outside the pub now though so not if you want a quiet one!
Powerflow can build you a custom exhaust if you want personal looks, sound and tone.

I have the Jetex S/S system on my 16v with twin round tailpipes.
I think it looks perfick, fits really nicely and isnt too OTT in the noise department
I gave £300 for it, fitted

That was mine done in april. Sounds just right for me, not so noisey in the car that it disturbs you, and when cruising it is just right, but give it some welly and its like a monster!!
As the golf gti boys will tell you after this weekend when i chuck it down the strip at pod.ÂÂÂ
Edit: sh!te forgot to mention specs.
done by - unique exhausts in stafford (a powerflow franchise), price £320, workmanship - top bollock, tone - fresh pants, bore - 2.5", no knocking or anything. Would throughly reccommend them, also get a lifetime warrenty and a free 12 month checkup each year.
