so confused over mapping and fmic please be nice
« on: 03 December 2012, 20:52 »
yes ive searched and yes ive found the posts but im so lost  my question is simple

a THS fmic this is direct fit in the fact yes abit of trimming required but the pipes supplied and fixings are all complete no extras needed?? i dont want the side grills been left off. can i fit fog lights with this intercooler? and lastly apart from forge is ther any other non faff direct fit intercoolers? i would of fitted a ebay but want the best to get best results from map.....which leads too

r tech emailed me today very help full offered live map for £299.00.

amd seem alot more expensive for revo etc difference i see is revo has adjustable maps.

i take it the r tech map is fine for 210-230bhp with above intercooler.forge 007p, forge acuator, 3'' turbo back and induction kit?

i just want the best before i get it mapped want to map it once really

thanks in advance

dunno pal. id prob be happy with 220 or around as im in a 175bhp NA car at the moment i just want the best before the map. ive even seen uprated manifolds and lightened pulleys but especially the latter seem never fitted for some reason.

spent nearly 1500 quid on lumpy cams and sprockets and software to go from 128bhp to 7200rpm 175bhp it was a long haul lol
