It won't be another Golf GTi as I have one now and like to try different cars and marques, no idea what the next car will be though.....

No Peugeot, Citreons or Renaults.

Maybe i'll see if I can get a GTD to 250K miles.
Diagonally parked in a parallel universe.
On Order: Mk8 R, Pure White, Reversing Camera, Harmon Kardon, Heated seats all round.
Gone: Mk7.5 R, 5dr, DSG, Deep Pearl Black, 18” Cadiz, Nav, Winter Pack, Keyless, Dynaudio and Reversing camera.
Gone: Mk7 R, 5dr, DSG, Limestone Grey, 19" Pretoria's, Nav Pro, DCC, Winter Pack, Keyless, Mobile Prep and Reversing Camera.
Gone: Mk6 GTD, 5dr, Manual, Tornado Red, 18" Vancouvers, RCD510 + Dynaudio, heated seats.

Just FYI for you The reason this forum does not have a diagnosis and fix thread like the USA forums is simply because some members about a year or more now ago just wanted patting on the back and told what a brilliant choice.they.made. rather than have somethimg helpful and useful for members.who.may have had.issues. It's one of the reasons I'm always answering the same bloody questions.time and.time again.
I will admit I nearly left the forum over that.

Nothing french or Japanese, been there done that made the mistakes, french wise that...just happy in the GTD at the mo.

Real shame that we haven't got the resource the MK5 specific GTi forum has, immense wealth of info on that site.

Which is a shame really cos although i quite like the american forum for it's entertainment value mostly, there is quite a bit of useful info on there, you just need to wade through all the "dude" and "bro" posts! :rolleyes:

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I will not be buying an overpriced Golf GTI.....

Its a bit like having a Rolex your paying for GTI badge , by the way I traded my roly in Now a proud owner IWC big Ingenieur.  :wink:
