I can't open the bonnet ...?

Hi guys, Ive recently installed a boost gauge and used the grommet for the bonnet cable to route the pipe through and while doing this ive dislodged something and now i cant open the dam thing ....
I need to check the water as ive just changed the thermostat. Any help would be great .

Does the bonnet lever pull and nothing happens, or has it got no resistance now (flops about)?

Hi , it just flops about .
When i pull the lever i can see the cable moveing with the handle..... is it supposed move ?the black cable that is?

Bad luck dude, sounds like the cable has snapped.  You can still acccess the bonnet externally (through the grill or from underneath), have a look on youtube for guidance

well thats the end of that then lol
