heated mirrors question

hey guys

Can I ask, for the heated mirrors when you turn the dial to the symbol should it point directly at the symbol ?
Mine (and the ed35 borrowed the other day) dont seem to click into place pointing directly at it, kind of weird but thought i better ask lol

No, it sits in the 12 o clock position.

If the symbol was there, it would be obstructed from view by the knob.

thanks for that, can i ask, the folding mirrors are at 10 o clock, so how does that work ? sorry for silly question but from memory on the ed35 it didnt click into position at that point either, ie only 12 o clock....

This means you don't have folding mirrors, which is part of the luxury pack.

So how come yours points at the symbol directly ? This is confusing   

The two I've tried won't click into that position but instead point at the 12 o clock position (ie exactly inbetween the folding mirror symbol and the heated mirror symbol....)

mine doesnt have folding mirrors so when heated mirrors is on it points straight ahead, not at the symbol

our altea has folding and headed mirrors and it points to the specific icon same as the picture above
