Oil/Engine issues

Yday i was driving my car (golf mk4 tdi) the oil pipe burst, i was a street away from my house, so i drove it near my house at about 10mph and then it cut off and wouldnt start back up again with abit of white smoking coming out engine bay.. reckon ive burnt the engine??

what oil pipe split/ location on engine

If i was you i would not start it. Your just gonna fook up the internals if there is no oil due to burst pipe. Replace the pipe and give it oil service should be ok. Any damage you will know about then

im not sure of exact location but he told me it was supposed to be a metal pipe, previous owner had put a rubber one on which burst, no oil in the engine caused the crankshaft to break.. so il be needing a whole new engine basically now.

caused crank shaft to break  probably spun bearings and locked the crank due to lack of oil on the bearings it only takes a couple of seconds with no oil and its fooked best get on ebay m8
