A few of my friends are now saying that it is possibly a hose gone. Will definatly have a look tonight. Don't really know what I'm doing but will give it a go. Thanks everyone:)

put a couple of piks up with your engine cover off and piks of your y pipe especialy

mine ran rough on idle because i had a worn inlet gasket

No, as it's inlet. It'll just be a vacuum leak.
