Few Q's about the Mk4 1.8t and the LCR
« on: 27 November 2012, 18:06 »
Does anyone know how much each car weighs?

Does the LCR handle much better than the golf 1.8t?

Really thinking of going down the LCR route but the £270 a year tax frightens me, Not only that but my parking permit also goes up,

Just trying to weigh up weather the LCR is a much better car than say a K04 powered Mk4 golf.

Any input is gratefully appreciated,

LCR shares a lot of front suspension components with the TT/S3 and better front brakes than the 312mm, handle much better than a Golf out of the box.

Both cars are in the same tax band K

Can get a decent 54/55 plate LCRs with reasonable millage for 4-5k

The golf 1.8t is in tax band J so slightly cheaper than the LCR.

Im swaying towards the LCR,
