which cat back best for a 1.8t remus or milltek
« on: 25 November 2012, 16:03 »
ive got the money ready for my purchase of a mk4 gti turbo for dec or jan time. so really need to know what my first mods will be.

forge 007 will be first thing. BUT

cat back i seem to find 2.5'' scorpion, and milltek and then the very expensive remus kits with no mention of what size they use (not that i can see).

i will be having stage 2 map done after all mods fitted.
the exhaust will have a decat fitted too along with some form of air box mod of induction kit etc

im after a really good quality sound from the cat back with max power increase and i dont want discreet like a resonated kit they IMHO too OEM sounding. the videos on youtube are mixed the milltek non res some sound great some sound abit bland. ive seen some remus on on you tube and sound nice. i want it quite poppy and crackling etc

any advice tips be great please

You want a de cat or a sports cat aswell for more flow because the cats are very restrictive
