Ok so i was on the way home the other day and the car had been making a grumbling/knocking noise for a few weeks. When i slowed down for the traffic lights it felt like the gearbox had locked up and was really had to get into every gear.
I have had it jacked up today and when I moved the front wheels in neutral it clicks really badly and sometimes locks.
I then had the missus put it in gear and release the clutch a few times and the clicking is really bad.
I also took it out to see what other noises it was making and it whines on acceleration.
So now im confused as to wether it is the gearbox, DMF or the clutch.
Any help would be great.
