Might sound stupid, but it's not down to too much waxing etc is it....

I would probably go to a dealer...

Yes i noticed it before i washed the car and took the pic (bottom picture)
washed and waxed it but dos'nt really show up in the top pic with the reflection and taken on the iphone,
In sunlight it shows up like tits on a fish, but when its dull you have really got to look for it  it looks like the paint has cracked and shrunk under the laquer and you can see the primer ?

Got the car booked in at the local body shop tomorrow to repaint my bonnet and front bumper,
Didn't even bother with the dealers as most of you know I have fell out with them anyway
The front end is quite badly stone chipped having done 40k so needed sorting, I know I could of probably got the bonnet done through the paint warranty and maybe paid them a little extra to do the bumper but I couldn't be bothered  with all the hassle,
They are also painting the rear standard diffuser gloss black as I have never been happy with the fit of the carbon one, so I am removing it

Sounds like a good plan...I don't trust the dealers when it comes to painting...

Post up the photos when done...

Yes will post up pics when done

When I took my mk5 into the local dealers a few years back to get my rear spoiler repainted and fitted after they replaced the rear screen, due to the base of the wiper arm scratching the glass, they drove it 80 mile round trip, when I questioned them about the mileage on the car they said they had drove it to a body shop near York as that's the one that does their painting
