Bumper respray sussex?

Hi guys,

Just got back to my car today and noticed some kind person has left me a scuff on my rear bumper.

Looks like it'll need a respray 

Anyone know a decent respray in Mid Sussex? I might just give Crawley Vw a call.

Any idea on cost as well?

If it only a small repair, you could try one of the mobile units, Chipsaway in Crawley did a very good job on a scratch on my front bumper (expensive though at £160).

Crawley VW have someone they use also, as mine had a repair done by then when they damaged the rear, again a good job, but as they paid, I don't know how much it cost.

I am also looking for a high quality paint shop in the Mid Sussex area for stone chip work on my bonnet and front bumper, I have read good things about Baldocks accident repair centre in Ditchling, but have no first hand experience.

Depends how good the individual is who does the repair - as with any job some people are better at it than others. I scraped the edge of my rear bumper [not badly] and let Chipsaway have a go, it cost me £110, the repaired area was excellent but there was a slight shadow where the spraying ended. I polished this out myself and now I defy anyone to tell it's been repaired. A full bumper respray should cost around £350.

I can recommend my Guy Tony from chips away he's ace 07736887000 used him a few times quality work but he's in London.

£350 for a bumper respray good god southern prices are alot compared to north . get half a respray for that  . had a 73 camper painted inside and out with repairs for little over a grand

That is a South yorkshire price Rock; someone reversed into the GTI I used to have and I had the bumper resprayed, it cost just under £350 inc VAT.

god didnt realise it costs so much to have things painted as iv got a useless set of mates unless you want a car painter or a plasterer all my pals went the same ways from school . nakered if i need a plumber or joiner
