Hi just a quick question i have just been informed that a MK2 16v gearbox will fir straight into my MK3 8 v woth no probs is this true ????

hi just done the same thing today!
mine went ok with no probs at all
as long as the box is from a 16v its ok(check by counting the splines on the shaft should be 28)

Well finally removed and stripped down the box today what a mess it was
Ordered a reco box for £350
