Do lights go dead completely or are parking lights on?
Sounds like your x-relief relais is fritzed.... Relais 18 above the other two rows of relay on a separate carrier.
Bridge the carrier where two thick contacts would go in with appropriate wire (2.5mm2 for testing short time will do) and wide spade connectors on each end.

If it then works alright use a multimeter set to 20VDC and check the two thinner ones, when igntion is on or engine running you should have about 12 V (or -12 if measured wrong way around) if not ignition switch is wrecked or not properly connected up. If you got voltage with ignition on narrow connectors and bridging wide connectors keeps lights etc on then it's the relay.

I can send you one for say 4£ posted.

It all works now hit checked connectors and left ignition on then it worked again ,

Will keep an eye on it now anyways !
