G13 coolant
« on: 20 November 2012, 00:25 »
Hi guys, just wondering 2 things. Is VW G13 coolant safe to mix with the G12 my car already has? And does it come ready mixed in the bottles?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Also - anybody in Wiltshire/somerset fancy changing my drop links on my anti roll bar. I'll pay in tea, cake, biscuits, and a firm handshake. (I've totally ran out of money  )
I thought Volkswagens were supposed to be reliable?

Yes mate it's fine to mix and no you want to add water too it too,  usually one bottle of coolant will give you a freezing point of about -30 to -40 anything over -25 is perfect

When i changed mine (2-3 months ago) i did a total reflush and used G13.
G13 is basically the new "G12" and im almost certain it says on the bottle how much water to mix with it? And i used notmal tap water tbh.

Hope this helps :)
