MK6 GTi side skirts

Has anyone changed the awful side skirts on a MK6 GTi. 
The side skirts are 1 feature that I really dislike on my car - they look like such a cheap after - thought  :cry:

Anyone got any pics of different side skirts on their MK6s ?
