Did anyone ever see the picture of the Porsche 928GTS in a MK1's clothing???  Was a beast...

I stumbled across some pictures of it and a brief history with pics by googling on "campaign "as I recall. Some German nutter cut the car in half and widened it to take the running gear. I think it cost him a few DM to do the conversion though. Call me old fashioned but if you want a porsche buy a porsche. Why spend all that cash producing a crappily engineered version of the original? Pure is best I reckon.

cheers for bringin that one up john. Nice to see the initial reaction to one of the most awesome projects iv seen. Congrats to joe for having both the forethought and the skill to carry it out!

Maybee it's time for my bro' to come back from the states and help me build a cosworth 4x4 mk1 or 2, anybody know if it's been done, as it shud be a peice of pi55 to do, and i'm looking for a new project....??
