Wheel spacers
« on: 18 November 2012, 11:43 »
Wondering 20mm rear spacers with 3sdm 0.05 8.5j all round look silly? Or would it be better to have less mm in rear? Try and fit 9.5j instead? Currently now lowered but will be after winter.

What offset?
What tyre size?

I use 8.5 wide wheels, ET52, on 225s and it's mm close when lowered...not a hope in hell of getting 20mm spacers on with out doing major arch work.

I think they are only 7.5" wide wheels...so sits roughly where a 8.5" wide wheel will, with as sensible (Read: not scene queen) offset.

2 x 18x8.5" ET35

2 x 18x9.5" ET38

Unless I just stick with 8.5" ET35 all round

I'd expect it to rub without spacers with 8.5 wide wheels ET38, when lowered.
