Gaz dont buy a scooby . it might be fast but they get boring after a few days. everything is made of cheap plasticy stuff (no offence)
Fastest car i had but one hell of a deathtrap. bodywork was flimsy too. ended up hating them

ey up gaz i know there a bit pricey but have you checked out how much early s3`s are going for, mmm 4wd 260bhp with a re-map, plenty of fun,loads of nice extras .

If it's the power you are after at a reasonable price then I reckon the VR6 is the way to go, so fill your boots and bring one to Bugjam.

feck me, when i want one theres none for feckin sale!!!, theres one but its in coventry and not really to my liking.....so the 8v is coming to bugjam for now..... lol

I know what you mean.
VWs have got a hold of me too.
I've only ever owned VWs and although I have occassionally thought about buying something else, nothing in the price range has come close to the dubs.
Not even my other half could persuade me away from getting dubs.

Scooby's are tempting, but how long before you get bored again?

If you want a cheap VR6, get one, run it for a while, then pop the engine into a Mk2 when you get bored with the boat.
