Purge valve
« on: 11 November 2012, 12:38 »
Hi, there is a tapping noise from my 2.0 8v once the engine has reached normal running temperature, it's from near the coolant tank area, according to two VW specialists it's the purge valve and a common thing? it goes and comes, has anyone else experienced this? surely it's not meant to do that?

thanks in advance
