also the cloth mats are wearing out from my heels so i need something that wont wear out as easily. my old mk5 after three years i had worn a hole in the mat and started to wear a hole in the carpet in the foot well. lol

No offence but surely you could see the mats wearing through and you didn't think you should maybe buy some new ones before they damage the carpets underneath?  :huh:

Carpet mats are a consumable to protect the actual carpet in my world   :wink:

Didn't care that much at the time and was a student so didn't have the funds.

Need them for this one tho as I take a lot more care with the car.

£30 from the dealer for the front pair. They're in the accessories brochure - link below;

http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/accessories/convenience-and-protection/1K2061501A041/front-rubber-floor-mats?mark=golf-2009&offset=30&previousCategory=convenience-and-protection

Cheers for that. Might go pick them up on the weekend if they have them in stock.

Are they quite hard wearing and mum had some and they didnt last very long as they were a bit thin.

I bought a full set from Halfords 2 years ago, front £14 rear £7 but they don't list them now. You just have to cut around the accelerator pedal the other 3 fit perfectly.
2010 Golf GTD (170) CBBB, 5 Door, Shadow Blue (P6/D5Q), Flat Tyre Indicator, Basic Protection Pack + VCDS.
