Don't think I could put up with the worry of running 19s round here myself. The roads I drive daily look like a patchwork quilt you'd think vikers have been testing the tanks along them with metal tracks and testing the guns every so often too.
The 17 are bad enough, the rear often thunks over the tarmac patch ridges. 18s I could maybe deal with but 19s with so little tyre give or height would put the fear into me everytime it hit a pot hole. It's how I felt when running an ibiza with 195/45/16s. With 19s I would spend half my life at my mates garage with the car on the 2 poster spinning the wheels to make sure they were still round and not buckled on the inside.
Downsizing to reduce rattles probably won't work mine gets new rattles on what seems a daily basis this past fortnight I've been using it. It's got a perminate one at the rear passenger side. Both front doors. Rear passenger door alighnment so thuds, Behind the speedo, passenger side footwell dash area. Behind the radio, sunroof blind, centre concel were the two halfs meet on the drivers side and probably more. Mine would drive you mental mkviken compared to yours.
It's a joy to get back in the Leon on weekends with its only intermitent shelf rattle.
