As a general rule if you pay cheap, you'll get a sh!t job.

Get quotes from a number of places, ask to see examples of their work and see if you can speak to previous customers to get feedback.

Generally you get what you pay for and there are loads of variables.

1. There is a huge variety of paint & lacquer out there. Better products cost more and look better for longer. You can get a respray for £600 but it will be a rush job with budget materials.
2. How much do you need spraying, outer shell only, do you want the door shuts doing? Is the car going to be stripped to a bare shell? What is the condition of the car? Does the car have any rust? etc etc.
3. Paint shops vary hugely in price. If the shop is new they will want your business and are often priced better. Visit the shops and see what the final results are.

Middle of the road prices using decent materials and small amount of rust repair, filling, sanding would be:

Bare shell £2500 - £5000
Outer shell £1200 - £2200

I spent £1800 for an outer shell spray, original LA9V Met black. I don't think you need to spend more than £2000 for a daily.
