my mate's mk3 ibiza's drivers window just fell down and won't come up.. took the door card off and there's a snapped cable.

Just wondering if i should get a regulator kit from ebay (about £17) or get a whole new regulator kit (about £55)? I've heard the kits are a nightmare to install, just wondering if anyone's had any dealings with them

ok cool thanks.. think the motor has chewed the cable a bit, do you know if this is easy to get out?

i'll try doing this with the kit methinks. It's such a cold time of year to be driving with a window locked open lol. Jammed it shut with some wood now

For me i think the longest part of the process was getting the doorcard and that off.
