wheel bearings
« on: 06 November 2012, 16:26 »
so ive ordered some wheel bearings for my 16v hubs. and they are too small.

the outer diameter of the bearings ive recieved is 66mm as described of the item description online, however
they also seem about 5mm too small for my old set of hubs which would make sense, as the old bearings that
came out of the new 16v hubs measure in at 72mm

im presuming that there should be no physical difference between the bearings for the two hubs, except maybe
internal build quality. and that ive been sent the wrong size bearings?

Have you fully removed the old bearing, ie, is the outer part of the bearing still stuck in the hub?

Sounds like the wrong part given if they are to small. Avoid bashing the bearings in. Press them in.
