how do you clean a induction kit ?

as above, how can i clean an induction kit, to make it look like new .... i hate looking at it all mucky ? any ideas.... read somewhere that you can clean it with petrol ? anything else i can use to clean it ?

Not sure about petrol, dip it in hot soapy water, I'd suppose

I dip my panel filter in petrol then with hot soapy water I clean it all thoroughly, massaging the dirt out. Then with a strong stream of cold water rinse it all off and let it dry naturally. Oil it up when fully dry and you're done.

its k&n but i bort it of sum1, didnt get no cleaner with it... halfords sell it £15 bit steep ..

I use hot soapy water then once dry I put my old 2stroke petrol over it so dust sticks to the oil
