My SM is completely nackered, and I'd rather sell the old beast [car] working properly, anyway, Baby Blue MK2 thinks thats perhaps the 1.8 GTi startermotor may fit ?
The location of my one is in the worst place EVER, its underneath the engine towards the back of it sort of next to the exhaust manifold.
On the GSF website there are 2 different SM's for the auto, and the part numbers were different from the GTi, not sure if that makes a difference or not. Anyway, im not wasting money on one from GSF again.
