MK2 16V KR engine process needed!
« on: 14 July 2005, 10:56 »
I was just thinking as there are so many problem related to the Kr engine, i thought if we all pulled together and put a process together of how everything works, it could help people problem solve and save alot of repeated threads!

I am not an expert on this and may get a few thing wrong, but if we all get involved we can get a good guide!

So we would need from cold start up:

A1) Ignition activates starter motor (cold start):

result - Starter motor turns the fly wheel
Cold start injector activated and sprays extra fuel for start up
ISV activated - regulates the  idel
warmup regulator acvtivated and adds more air fuel for seven seconds??? not sure on this

**lots more to be added here i think** :)

A2) - Throttle down

result - Throttle switch, switches off and????
overrun cutoff switch de-activated - **need more on this**

A3) - Throttle off
result - Throttle switch, switches on
overrun cutoff switch activated - **need more on this**

B1) 1) Ignition activates starter motor (warm start):
result - Starter motor turns the fly wheel
        **more to be added**

Well you get the idea, just you guyz to help fill in the blanks :)

Good idea? or not

if we get this we can to the 8V and 8V digi also!
