most beneficial anti roll/strut brace for mk3s

where is the most beneficial place to put a strut brace on mk3s to improve handling? i know the mk3s are stiffer than the mk2s but would be grateful to know where it needs em and where it doesn't..

On a road car...um...er...nowhere that will benefit.

On a track car, the front upper might - and it is a might - give a stiffness benefit, on a fully polybushed car, with stiff dampers and spherical bearing top mounts.
More for looks that gains on a road Mk3 though, in my mind.

If you want to improve handling...the strut brace is the last link in a very long chain of changes that give far bigger gains.

Agreed although they do seem to be overlooked quite often for some reason.

...because people don't know what they do...and still believe super low and super stiff = good handling.
Wrong...

Eibach ARBs = good.
Neuspeed adjustable ARBs = good-er

Knowlege is all. Keep reading.

I only fitted a top mount brace because I got one cheap off a fellow member and it is shiny so looks good.
